When to call for car breakdown recovery
Call us when the vehicle can't safely finish its journey. That covers the obvious, like an engine that has cut out, a clutch that has gone or a gearbox stuck in one gear, and the less obvious: a warning light you don't trust, steam from under the bonnet or a noise that wasn't there yesterday.
If it's only a flat battery, a jump start may get you going without a tow. If you're stranded somewhere unsafe right now, such as a hard shoulder, a live lane or a busy junction, tell us that first and we'll treat it as an emergency recovery.

Not a call centre. Give us your location, the vehicle and what it's doing. A WhatsApp location pin helps if you're not sure of the road name.

We tell you whether we can attend and give you a realistic arrival time before anyone sets off. Across our core Birmingham area the average response is 30–45 minutes.

We recover the vehicle
The driver checks the vehicle, loads it safely and takes it to your home, your own garage or another address you've agreed with us.

Do I need breakdown cover to use you?
No. There's no membership or subscription. You call when you need us and speak directly to the operator.
How quickly can you reach me?
Across our core Birmingham area the average response is 30–45 minutes. Traffic, weather and your exact location all affect it, so we give you a live estimate when you call.
Can you take my car to my own garage?
Yes. Tell us the garage's name or address. If it's closed, we can take the car home or agree another destination with you.
What should I do if I break down on the motorway?
If you can, leave at the next junction or pull into a services. If not, stop in an emergency area or on the hard shoulder, switch on your hazard lights, get everyone out on the side away from traffic and wait behind the barrier. If you're stuck in a live lane and can't get out safely, stay belted in and call 999.
Do you recover vans as well as cars?
Yes. Tell us the make, model and roughly what's in the back, and we'll confirm the right setup before setting off.
